We had great fun learning about animals and their habitats....  The kids brought their animal soft toys and talked about them!  Then, we wrote some sentences, printed out the photographs and put up all our sheets on the boards!  Here we go:

It was a fantastic, fun day at school today!  We celebrated Carnival...! The children wore colourful costumes (and Ms Marthese too!).  We had great fun watching the show in the school hall.  Here are some pictures of the event:

At 100p.m., the corridor next to the year 3 classes was the venue for 'Making the Prinjolata'!  Parents, grandparents, sisters and relatives gathered to do the traditional Carnival sweet, the Prinjolata!  We had great fun mixing all the ingredients and forming it!  Then we decorated it with cream, cherries, almonds and chocolate syrup!  Yummy.!! What fun.!

Carnival time..... yeepee...!!  Time for celebration, dressing up and having loads of fun... How about doing the Prinjolata?  All parents and relatives are invited to come over to school to do the Prinjolata on Thursday 16 February at 1.00p.m.

It was a very special day today for our class.  During this week we tackled the 'Jobs and Occupations' Theme.  We talked about different kinds of work.  We also talked about old professions.  As part of this project, we decided to visit Sebastian Aquilina who works as a tinsmith/blacksmith.  At 11.00 we were all inside Bastjan's workshop in Victory Street to see him busy at work surrounded by metal, iron and fantastic tools!  He showed us around, explained in detail what it entails to do such a job, while showing all the tools needed in his profession.  The children were really excited and didn't stop asking questions.  Thanks so much Bastjan for welcoming us all in your shop!

Today we had our healthy breakfast.  Ms Joan Camilleri (Kindergarten assistant in our school), managed to provide all the children of our school with cereal (brava! :)  So, this morning, we all had a yummy bowl of cereal with milk and fresh fruit for breakfast!

Today we started the second term for this year.... Let's gear up and prepare to work hard...! :)

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.  May all you wishes come true during this new year 2012!  Enjoy your holidays, work, study and take care.  Loads of love, hugs and kisses to all...!

Yummy - we did 60 Christmas Logs...!  All the year 3 children together with their parents, gathered in the corridor to do the logs and the smell was divine. Everyone had loads of fun mixing the ingredients and forming the logs - some had some difficulties in this...!!  Unfortunately, I lost all the photos taken... (emm, please.... don't ask me why as I'll start crying...) So, if anyone has any pictures, will you please send them to me?  Thanks to all for your constant support...!

Tomorrow is going to be a special day at the second floor near the year 3 classes.  All the parents are invited to come and do the Christmas Log with their children at 13.00.  Do come and have loads of fun with us...!
