Tuesday the 20 November was a very special day for our class.  We visited St. Miguel School in Pembroke.  There we celebrated 'St.. Miguel's Feast' together with the great children and dedicated staff who attend there.  Mrs Abela, wife of the President of Malta, was also present, together with singers Georgina and Claudia Faniello who sang and dance with the children.  It was a great day were we met fantastic people!

During this week we held a Healthy Living Week in our school.  Many activities happening in our class were centered around this theme.  On Tuesday 23, the children had an intentive PE session in the school yard, whilst on Wednesday we talked and read about ways of keeping our body healthy.  Then, on Thursday, we visited the Home Economics Seminar Centre in Birkarkara, where together with a good number of parents we learnt about the importance of having a breakfast and eating healthy food!  On Friday we read 'Xi ħaġa tajba' from Senduq Buffuri and together we did the 'Tuffieħ mimli bil-passolina u l-għasel'  found in this story!  It was a very interesting and fun-filled week!

It was a fantastic day today!  We spent our day at San Anton Gardens where we had a full day of activities prepared i this beautiful place.  We were greeted by the 'Cavalier' who immediately told us his plans for the day.  First, it was time for the Treasure Hunt round the garden and the President's Palace. We were divided into 5 groups, each member of the group had a job to do. It was great seeing the kids so eagerly searching for things and information.  We saw many different animals, plants and trees.  It was a day to remember!
