Winter
Winter comes on the 21st of December and ends on the 20th of March. The weather becomes cold and windy. It rains cats and dogs with thunder and lightning. In Malta it doesn’t snow. We wear thick clothes like hats, coats and scarfs. When it rains I put on the raincoat, boots and get my umbrella. We switch on the heaters and fireplaces to keep warm. We don’t eat ice-creams but we eat soups, hot chocolates and other hot things. Mum and dad put soft carpets on the floor and hang thick curtains to keep out the cold. In winter we put on thick pyjamas and my parents put on thick quilts on the bed to keep cosy. In winter I like most to watch thunder storms while drinking hot chocolate. NATHAN BALDACCHINO
